1. Different lighting principles: ordinary lamp beads are incandescent lamps, which use the thermal effect generated by the current passing through the tungsten filament to make the filament reach a high temperature (2800-3300C) and emit light; LED lamp beads let the current flow through the PN junction made of special semiconductor materials to make it emit ultraviolet light, which then excites the phosphor coated around the lamp core to make the phosphor glow.
2. The luminous efficiency is different: the photoelectric conversion efficiency of incandescent lamps is usually less than 5%, while the photoelectric conversion efficiency of LED beads is more than 25%, with significant energy-saving effect; 3. Different service life: the service life of incandescent lamp is less than 2000 hours, and the service life of LED lamp bead is more than 50000 hours, with a large difference in service life. 4. Different resistance to damage: incandescent lamps are sealed with thin glass, and the filament is very thin, which is not only afraid of vibration but also afraid of falling and bumping. LED lamp beads are sealed with plastic solid, and the wick structure is reliably wrapped, which is resistant to knocking and bumping; 5. Different working temperatures: incandescent lamps work at a high temperature, so they can also withstand high temperatures. LED lamp beads are particularly afraid of heat, and will be damaged if the temperature is slightly higher. They can only work normally under 45C, and can be easily damaged if the temperature is too high.
